The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S electric SUV has now transitioned to regular production after initially being introduced as a limited Launch Edition model in 2024. The new Limited grade model was unveiled at the 2025 Chicago auto show and is priced at $66,995, which is $5,000 less than the Launch Edition. This model will feature 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque, with an option for higher performance through an additional OTA update.
The higher power outputs make the Wagoneer S the quickest Jeep ever produced. However, the Launch Edition model was found to deviate from the traditional Jeep brand identity in a first drive review. There is hope that a production version of the off-road Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept will address this issue, but Jeep has not confirmed its release as of yet.
The Limited model of the Wagoneer S has not yet received EPA range ratings, but it shares the same 100-kwh battery pack as the Launch Edition. It can be charged from 20%-80% in just 23 minutes and has a range of 303 miles. All Wagoneer S models come with a 48-amp Level 2 AC home charger or equivalent credits for public charging stations.
In terms of design, the Wagoneer S Limited retains some elements from the Launch Edition, such as the lack of chrome trim and standard 20-inch wheels. However, the wheels now have a machined aluminum finish instead of gloss black, and the model features a black roof and mirror caps. Inside, the Limited model can be equipped with a three-screen setup including a 12.3-inch central display, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a 10.2-inch front-passenger display. Additionally, it comes with standard features like a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and 10-way power-adjustable heated front seats, with the option to add a McIntosh high-end audio system.
Overall, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Limited offers a blend of performance and luxury, with advanced technology and design features. As Jeep’s first EV for North America, it provides a glimpse into the future of electric SUVs from the iconic brand. With its powerful performance capabilities and upscale interior amenities, the Wagoneer S Limited is set to make a lasting impression on the electric vehicle market.
