Porsche has expanded its Taycan lineup for the 2025 model year with the addition of the Taycan 4 and Taycan GTS models. The Taycan 4 sedan is priced at $105,295, while the GTS sedan is priced at $149,895 and the GTS Sport Turismo wagon at $151,795. These new versions join the existing range of models, which includes the base Taycan, the Turbo GT, and the Cross Turismo, resulting in a total of 13 different versions now available for order. Deliveries of the new models are expected to begin in the late first quarter of 2025.
The Taycan 4 features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain with 402 hp, or 429 hp with launch control engaged. This model is positioned between the base Taycan and the Taycan 4S in the lineup and offers improved acceleration, reaching 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The Taycan 4 is equipped with either a standard “Performance” battery or a “Performance Battery Plus,” which offers higher capacity for improved range. The GTS models, on the other hand, deliver up to 690 hp with launch control, which is 100 hp more than previous versions. With a push-to-pass function as part of the standard Sport Chrono Package, the GTS models can deliver an additional 93 hp for short bursts of increased power.
In addition to the performance upgrades, the Taycan GTS models also feature enhancements to the chassis, including rear-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, torque vectoring, and an active anti-roll system. These upgrades are designed to further improve the handling and overall performance of the vehicles. The 2025 Taycan models have also received an engineering-focused refresh that has improved the range and efficiency of the vehicles. The EPA range ratings for the new models are expected to fall between 266 and 318 miles, taking advantage of a charge curve that has been optimized to make better use of 350-kw Combined Charging Standard (CCS) connectors.
