Tesla China has extended its five-year zero-interest loan program for the Model 3 and Model Y vehicles until November 30, 2024. This incentive is available for both Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range Dual Motor All Wheel Drive (AWD) variants of the sedan and crossover models. With this limited-time financing offer, China-based customers can take advantage of the program when purchasing select models of the Model 3 or Model Y.
The Model 3 and Model Y vehicles are produced at Gigafactory Shanghai and offered in three variants: RWD, AWD, and Performance trims. The zero-interest financing is only applicable to the RWD and AWD versions of the vehicles, excluding the Performance trims. Pricing for the base RWD Model 3 starts at RMB 231,900 ($32,550), while the Long Range AWD version is priced at RMB 271,900 ($38,160). The Model Y base RWD variant costs RMB 249,900 ($35,000), with the Long Range AWD starting at RMB 290,900 ($40,830).
Delivery estimates for the Model 3 sedan are currently listed at 4-6 weeks, while all variants of the Model Y have an estimated delivery time of 1-3 weeks according to Tesla China’s order page. The zero-interest loan offer was initially launched in April and has been extended each month since then. While the program was initially expected to be available for a limited time, the extensions suggest that Tesla China may continue to offer the incentive until the end of the year.
