While the Model Y currently undercuts the Model 3 in pricing due to recent reductions, the Model 3 Performance remains a competitive option in the electric vehicle market. With new rivals like the BMW i4 and Polestar 2 emerging, updates to the Model 3 Performance were necessary to maintain its position in the segment.
